Youth & Safeguarding Children
Youth
The Parish of Kilmacow views its youth as a very important element of its faith community.
Our youth today have a role in our parish and hopefully as future adults, will have a role also.
We encourage our youth to become involved in church related activities alongside their involvement in social, cultural and sporting activities.
Both St. Senan’s and St. Patrick’s National Schools in our parish are under the patronage of our Bishop.
These schools teach the agreed religion program and prepare the pupils who present for 1st confession, 1st Holy Communion and Confirmation.
They are also involved in other liturgies such as school masses and nativity plays.
Our youth are involved in church liturgies as altar servers, readers and collectors.
Many have completed the John Paul II Awards while others have begun the process.
